After completing at least one FFC or by demonstrating
an ability through a portfolio review,
a photographer becomes eligible to attend a more advanced version of FotoFantasyCamp®: The Pro Experience.
Drawing on skills learned in their original workshop, photographers now do it themselves under the watchful eyes of FFC instructors.
Three groups of either 3 or 4 photographers will become teams. Each team receives a complement of lighting equipment as well as a model.
Each group will be assigned 2 pro-level assignments that must be finished by the end of day. While the remaining photographers in a group serve as
assistants, each participant shoots the assignment as he/she wishes. Upon getting the shot, the participants switch roles until all have gotten
their photograph for that particular assignment. For each of the assignments the models rotate, allowing maximum diversity and new challenges for each shooting group.
The obvious difference in this workshop is how much responsibility is given to the students to fulfill their assignments. Each evening is devoted
to individual assessment by David and the FFC crew of each student’s
images, creating an intense workshop for the aspiring pro wishing to push
themselves.
