	The Package
The Pro Experience is open to any photographer who has either attended one (two or more preferably due to the level of difficulty) of our original FotoFantasyCamp® workshops or any non-FFC affiliated photographers who can prove they have the skill level to deal with the independent photographic exercises assigned. There will be nine to no more than twelve photographers invited to attend. As with your first FFC experience, once you arrive at your destination airport, your FotoFantasyCamp® experience begins. Simply check into your selected hotel and relax until the evening’s orientation begins. Be sure you have brought along your camera gear and a laptop computer, both are an absolute requirement for this workshop. On our first evening together, each of you will be asked to show a short portfolio of work you feel is your best since attending a previous FFC. Should you be a photographer who has never attended an FFC workshop before, you will be required to submit images or a website of images for our review prior to acceptance. After these reviews, we will create either groups of three or four photographers per group. The groups will become teams for the entire workshop, because as one photographer is shooting his/her assignment, the others will be that person’s assistants for that shoot. Once that photographer is finished, the group rotates to the next photographer in line and the finished shooter becomes an assistant. This system works for each group during their shooting days ahead. A model will be assigned to each group in the morning and a different model in the afternoon. With that, we ask the photographers to have discussions with our professional makeup and styling people in order to put together “looks” and select the wardrobe for their assignments. During all of this, our FFC professionals are there for advice and suggestions. Speaking of assignments, each group will be given assignments not unlike what professional photographers face every day. From being required to shoot the opening spread for a magazine, to a national shoe ad, to a movie poster, we expect the resulting photographs to be of the highest caliber when completed. At the end of each day, we will meet for a download session and appraisal of everyone’s results for that day. (You will be judged!) New assignments will be given for the following day with new wardrobe and makeup ideas as well. The days are stress-filled, not unlike that of what a professional feels, yet also very exciting. This is the ultimate experience for the photographer who feels he/she is at a level where he/she needs greater challenges in order to grow. I understand that the photo shoots may involve exposure to models in sexy attire, and that this is for learning purposes only. I understand that lewd or lascivious behavior on my part is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. I will be participating in various photo shoots as both a photographer and assistant to other photographers. The photo shoots, assigned by the FFC staff, will be “real world” exercises in photography. My participation is shared with two or three other photographers serving in a team atmosphere until the conclusion of the camp. I will receive work product and copies from my photo shoots and will be judged in the FFC-Pro photo contest. I acknowledge that I will need a laptop to download and review my images. David will also go over his workflow on images from the shoot, to download, to color correction and image editing. In addition, because the FFC-Pro workshop format allows much more autonomy, FFC suggests all students retain the contact information of the models should the photographer have the opportunity to sell or have their images published. In such a case, the student/photographer MUST contact both the depicted model(s) and FFC to make arrangements for compensation to the model in exchange for a signed model release for the specified usage. The cost for FFC-Pro is $3,485. Reservations may be made with a $2,000 deposit upon signing of this agreement, with the balance to be paid 30 days prior to the first day of arrival. All monies collected will be refunded should your application be rejected. I acknowledge that all air travel and/or transportation costs as well as the cost of my hotel accommodations and all of my food and drink, as indicated in the itinerary, are my sole responsibility. I am obligated to sign and remit this agreement within 3 days of making my reservation or risk forfeiture of both my deposit and my place. I understand that I am obligated to complete full payment at least 30 days prior to the first night of the camp. There are no deferments or refunds. Due to advanced expenses for the hotel, food, models, makeup artist, stylist, crew, film, and locations, we are not able to extend refunds or deferments. There will be no credit given for student photographers who arrive late or leave early. Participation in FFC-Pro is not available on a pro-rated basis. Failure to attend the first meeting of the FFC without prior notification will result in automatic forfeiture of the full tuition. This will be a working and learning environment. I am responsible for the effective management of my lifestyle and creative focus during the program. FFC is not responsible for any personal, professional, logistical, creative, or any other conflict, which interferes with my attendance, productivity, or capacity to participate. FFC staff and instructors pledge to provide professional level education and working environment, but require corresponding behavior from all participants. Exceptions to these policies are at the sole discretion of the FFC Los Angeles office and must be approved in advance.
